Mind Game started strong on its third week on Kindle Scout by being on “Hot & Trending” for most of the first day, a nice improvement over the last couple of days of the first week. It tapered off during the week and then exploded up to multiple back-to-back, twenty-four-hour days of “Hot & Trending” during its final week. By the conclusion of its time competing on Kindle Scout, Mind Game’s page had been viewed by nearly 2,200 unique visitors, with the majority of them being visitors who discovered Mind Game by visiting the main Kindle Scout page, seeing the information about Mind Game, and then becoming interested enough to read more about my book. It was "Hot & Trending" for well over half of the time that it was on Kindle Scout.
Amazon will contact me within the next several business days to let me know if they’ve chosen Mind Game for their Kindle Press imprint. It they do, I’ll receive my advance, their editors and I will do a final edit, any changes to the cover art will be made, and Mind Game will be released. If they don’t, which is the case with 98% of all competitors, I'll make other arrangements to publish Mind Game.
As you can imagine, I’m anxiously awaiting the results!
